Looking For A Home?

What is the important?

This is a question that we ask our buyers when looking for a home. What is important to you when purchasing a home?

This is a loaded question to many people. But sometimes things can be missed when thinking about important criteria that you need to let your REALTOR know. For instance, the beginning process of setting up a buyer on a home search we ask where you are looking to purchase, what is your budget, bedroom & bathroom requirements, do you need acreage, etc. What a lot of buyers don't understand is once we input their criteria into the system only properties with that criteria will show up. So, if they begin to start looking 1 - 2 miles out of the area they said they wanted, see properties listed that are an acre above or below what they said they wanted it will not come up in our search that will be sent to you.

We get this question quite frequently. I saw this property listed on Zillow, but it didn't get sent to me in my email from you. Why is that? Well, was it out of any of the paramotors that you originally sent over to me? If you tell us I have to have at least two bathrooms in my dream home, you will not be sent any active properties with one bathroom. This were great communication between you and your REALTOR needs to take place. Your REALTOR needs to be your best friend in the process. How you are feeling about something or what to change on your criteria that needs to be communicated so that we can do our job more efficiently.

We can only perform to the ability that you allow us to do! As a REALTOR I ask my buyers if there is any criteria that needs to change to please inform me. I want you to have the best chance in your real estate purchasing experience, and not to lose out on your dream home if we didn't have outstanding communication of your needs.

So, to do you & your REALTOR a favor, and have the best fighting chance to achieve your real estate goals, communicate what you need to them. You will allow your REALTOR to do their job to their best of their ability and know what you need. That is our job as REALTORS to help assist you through one of the most difficult processes that a person can go through.

I don't think people talk about that enough. You need to be able to have trust, and faith in who you choose to represent you. Do your research when choosing a REALTOR. Ask around to people that might know them if they are trustworthy, hardworking, and can negotiate most efficiently for you.
